Quick Stack Changeout

The new generation of high-spec, deep-hole jackup drilling rigs often requires multiple BOP stacks to operate efficiently.  The Hydril Mini-MUX Control System provides for quick stack changeout by using a pod-based system similar to subsea configurations.  The Mini-MUX shares many highly reliable parts and features of the Hydril subsea MUX, such as:

  • Solenoids, shear seal valves and SPM valves.
  • State-of-the-art electronics and software with configurable touch-screen interface.
