Hydril FSP™ 28-2000 Diverter

Redefining Your Diverter Reliability

The FSP 28-2000 Diverter/BOP is a dual-purpose tool used for bottom-founded offshore rigs, such as platforms and jackups.  As with all Hydril diverters, the FSP 28-2000 is known for reliability, ruggedness and strength. But what sets this system apart is simplicity and flexibility.  These key benefits come from features that include:

  • Ability to close on any pipe, casing or other equipment in the well without the use of packer inserts.
  • Latch-head design for ease in changing packing units and seals.
  • A vent line that is always open and clear, with no valves to obstruct the vent line.
  • Elimination of any stagnant vent line space, which prevents caking of solids or formation of ice that could obstruct or shut off the flow.
  • Ability to close on the open hole, eliminating a serious gap in safety.
  • An annular packing unit that permits stripping of pipe into the hole while diverting well fluids.
